If you could erase one event from history, what would it be?

I’ve argued previously that attempts to alter history and teachings of history should not be undertaken.

So if the question is rephrased to read what things in history, do you wish never happened, then I’ll be willing to answer that question.

Can you imagine this world with the dinosaurs never going extinct. Certainly,, there would be a lot of dinosaurs that we don’t have now. It would not even affect the traffic on this planet.

There would be no Sinclair oil. We will be making fuel out of plants. There certainly won’t be the extent of plastic that we have on this planet either. But I have a good faith that us humans would screw it up anyways.

But maybe not. It certainly changes the equation when it comes to greed and amassing large amounts of money. We all might be content ending our workday and sliding down the tail of a dinosaur much like Fred Flintstone.

And for those of you who believe the literal translation of the Bible. Can you imagine the mass chaos with Noah and his ark? Dinosaurs would be an unruly bunch on the good ship Ararat.

But we have to go back one stepfather

A massive asteroid roughly 6 miles wide struck Earth 66 million years ago. The impact in modern-day Mexico triggered global wildfires, tsunamis, and a thick cloud of dust and sulfur that blocked the sun, causing a harsh “impact winter” that wiped out three-quarters of all life, including the non-avian dinosaurs.

I don’t have a magic undo key, but if I did, we could steer that asteroid so that it misses the Earth. We no longer would have to pave paradise and put in a parking lot.

But you never know what you got until it is gone.

As an aside, I did minimal research here and came across Sinclair oil. Sinclair is the name of our cat. I didn’t realize she built a big empire in the United States. I checked her bank account and yeah, she’s a fat cat.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
