Generations

This is a photo of my daughter when she was one year-old. I believe we were in Holland. That is my mother-in-law from my practice marriage as well.

My ex mother-in-law passed away today. It hit me pretty hard. I don’t even know where that came from as I worry about it how affects my kids. They really loved her and they will miss her.

What amazes me is our son Max. He held her hand to the last minute of her life and watched her pass into wherever this life takes her. For me being that close to death, is a surreal experience.

Where we go after we die, some people claim to have the answers. I do not. If those were the answers we aren’t asking the right questions.

Or maybe we are.

I know she is going where ever she is going, she is going there with dignity.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
