What’s the best and worst airport you’ve been to?
It is hard to give a best and a worst when it comes to airports. With my sincere apologies to LAX, which works rather hard at being so drab and uncomfortable. There are so many factors, as an airport can be overly complicated (Seattle) but it gets you to many distinctions quickly.
Heathrow
It feels like I am in a shopping mall that went out of style many years ago. it is one of life’s missed connections.
Boise
Last week I went from being dropped off to the gate in just under four minutes. But then again you are in Boise.
Chicago O Hare
There’s a tiny little bar in an obscure corridor I find endearing.
Rochester , NY
I am serious, this is one of my favorites. There was a woman there who used to make me Sauerkraut sandwiches.
Berlin
Most preferred airport in Germany. It is simpler than Munich or Frankfurt. All of them have easy access to Mass transit. One can layover in Iceland. I am nonplussed by Reykjavík, thinking I would like it more.

Male
These tropical cities have quaint airports. But when you land you are in The Maldives. The islands in Hawaii are the some. And usually you are on vacation and not a business trip.
Not being a homer, I find Portland to be one of the best airports for various reasons, and as for the worst, I would have to give it to JFK in New York. But then again there are factors once you get in the air. Having more direct flights is certainly important. Access to mass transit is as well. Tulsa Oklahoma could have the best airport in the world, but you are still in Tulsa.
Gute Reise

I would love to hear you opinion as well
