The Mystery of The Refrigerator Door

What do you love now, that you hated the last time you answered this prompt?

Tales of mystery and imagination

To add to the ambiguity I should add this piece of useless wisdom,

For your entire life, you have been younger then you are right now as you are reading this.

I think I probably answered this before, and there are so many things that fall into this category. So in a sense, I rephrase the question, what have you begin to recently appreciate.

The Foreshadowed Mystery

For many years, we had a refrigerator that closed automatically. I assumed all new refrigerators closed automatically. The one at our old house did not, and it would beep every time we didn’t close it. It was a nuisance of staggering genius.

Our new house refrigerator does not close automatically. For some reason, I close it every single time.. I have no idea why.

Bidets

This was never on my bingo card to actually own one of these. We have one in our downstairs bathroom. We talk about music type of memories. The last time I used up a Bidet was in Paris in the 90s. Maybe I will walk around using my 10 sentences of French, I can say. Merci beaucoup.

Laundering

We just got money for tickets we sold for a soccer match we did not know was taking place.

Oven

An induction stove uses electromagnetic fields to generate heat directly inside your cookware, making it significantly faster, safer, and more energy-efficient than traditional gas or electric radiant coils. Because the cooktop transfers 85–90% of its energy directly to the pan (compared to just 30–40% for gas), it can bring water to a rolling boil in roughly half the time.

I’m very good cook, but these things are simply magical. Where were they in my life? They are efficient and cleanup is rather easy. My poor cast-iron skillet feels left out.

Où est mon stylo ?

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
