The Side Effects of Endorphins

I found the coolest place the other day. There is place called Apollo Exos Records & Beer, that sells vinyl records and one can have a beer. The music is a bit head banger, but intimate enough. I love listening to music and vinyl certainly makes the experience richer.

What also makes it better, is that there is a Taco Del Mar next door. TDM mostly disappeared in Portland, but was a family favorite of the kids.

Peloton

I have not used the Peloton in a while. I prefer biking outside, but I’m not the best bike mechanic. I picked up riding the peloton three or four days a week. I usually do about a 10 mile ride usually after I have run or worked in the yard.

Writing and Autumn

Right now, I’m in creative slump. It was great to hang out with friends and get some ideas flowing. I have two pieces coming out in the fall for publication.. I don’t know why it is autumn is my writing season. I’d rather love autumn.

General Observation

I am usually obsessed this time of year with any signs of autumn. This year, not so much. Where we live now it’s so much cooler than in Portland. Usually the rain sets in the beginning of October, but it has started already.

Today our daughter arrives from Germany and her daughter Yafa. In a few days, I will have hobbies. I didn’t know I had.
