Which is the best restaurant in your city?

If I start this essay with a lyric from what is arguably one of the worst songs ever, it should make my restaurant choices seem more delectable.

We are brand spanking new to this city and we have not yet found a favorite. Being vegan limits the choices, but that has been my life for a long time.

Cafe Wild

I want to like this restaurant so much. It is all vegan and the menu choices are impressive. We rode our bikes there the other day. It sits on top a rather difficult hill. As I crested the hill, we saw the chef, sitting around the corner from the restaurant. He may have been smoking a joint.

We walked in the restaurant and asked if they had enough staff tonight. The owner asked me if I saw his chef. I said I saw him around the corner.

The food was good but it took a long time to get the food.

We wanted to eat there last night, but didn’t want to get to the ball game in the fifth inning. We opted for a Vegan Bibimbap restaurant just over the hill. I was duly impressed.

It was simple and I could have done it at home. We had a baseball game to get to. I cook almost everyday and it is nice when somebody else cooks.

We are still figuring it out. We’ve tried about six places, and none of them stand out as outstanding. It’s not to say the dining experiences have not been fun. We had a night out at a Ramen restaurant . The food was outstanding and the service was all over the place. We had a fun night, laughing at the calamity of the place. Even the staff laughed along with us.

I digress because I forgot.

There is an area in Everett directly on the water. We only explored a few. There is a wood fired pizza joint we like. Being directly on the. Puget Sound adds some style points.

If somebody else is cooking I am along for the experience. I have not found a go to restaurant as of yet. But there is a dive bar on the Main drag. I have not been there as of now. It looks like a place to gather stories.

People don’t visit Everett for its fine dining. We live here and we are figuring it all out. That is part of the fun.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
