I say this in the most generic way. I love reading to the grandkids. I also love to watch them get intertwined with some of the characters they watch..

Fly Guy is a fictional character about a boy named Buzz and his pet fly.

The other day I called my daughter and told her I had a fly in the house and I wanted her to ask Arthur if it was Fly Guy. He said it probably was and I opened the window, and let it fly away..

Our granddaughter in Germany will watch Minions forever if we let her. I’m a big fan of the Minions .. There are certain parts where we get up and dance and we know the lines. The new one (Minions and Monsters) came out while I was in Germany the last time.. We couldn’t go to the movie theater because in Germany you have to be six to watch it in the movie theater. All three grandkids watched it recently, while taking all the cushions off the sofa. I did not see the whole thing as I was making dinner and trying to find the sofa cushions.

I sketch all the time and I don’t have the skill set to sketch,

original lovable creatures as these illustrators are absolutely amazing.

The Minions and Fly Guy are not merely lovable characters, but experiences we share with our grandkids.

There’s nothing like driving around town cranking up the theme to Speed Racer with your oldest grandchild.
