Ask Bo Derek

What are your top 10 travel destinations?

I want to go any place I’ve never been.

I have been to All 50 States, except for Iowa and Alaska.

The Maldives did not make my top ten. I did enjoy it there, but I’m not a tropics type.

I prefer Central Mexico over the resorts

The Oregon Coast is Fantastic

I feel at home in Germany

And That is simply scratching the surface. I am happy to be making a list such as this. I have the resources and now is the time to travel. Since I retired, every single trip has been to be with family. It’s kind of how it should be.

I like to travel for soccer, this is Frankfurt versus Gladbach.

Soccer

I certainly love traveling by train. Poland is cool..

And these are some of the places I’ve been and there’s so many places yet to explore. I’d rather hate the term bucket list. Albania would be nice, as would Russia, Turkey and I really need to make it to Iowa.

What a wonderful celebration of a life filled with curiosity, travel, family, and discovery! I love your attitude of simply wanting to “go any place I’ve never been.” It feels so much more joyful than treating travel as a checklist or a bucket list.

Having explored 48 states and so many fascinating places around the world, you have already gathered an incredible collection of memories. Yet what I admire most is that you still have the curiosity to look ahead—to Iowa, Alaska, Albania, Turkey, and countless places yet unknown.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
