What topics do you like to discuss?

That is how many days I’ve been alive

I wouldn’t mind sitting down talking about yesterday’s soccer game. The Timber’s actually won a game on the road?

I would like to discuss a perfect day. I’ve spent with my wife yesterday. We went to the farmers market bought some books at the bookstore and read them on the back porch.

I wouldn’t mind discussing Jeff Daniels perfect speech in a television show I never watched.

I would not mind discussing the best Vegan Pizza in Portland or the best record shops in Everett.

The movie “Drowning by Numbers” needs a deeper discussion.

I wouldn’t mind discussing short stories with you. For today “What’s in Alaska”. Raymond Carver would have been a great guest.

So bring your mead, your herbal teas and sloppy Grog as I am open to talk about almost anything except interest rates and their connection to this needless war in Iran.

This is a wonderfully eclectic and personality-rich piece—it feels like an invitation into a mind that is curious, playful, and endlessly observant.

What stands out is the effortless range of topics, moving from everyday joys like a farmers market day with your wife, to sports, literature, cinema, and even abstract intellectual threads. That flow gives the piece a very human rhythm—like real conversation, where thoughts naturally wander and connect in unexpected ways.

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
