I was amazed how fun this place was and the music pulsating. We got to see two really good bands.

Katie Shore was a funky five piece band. They were a little bluesy and cool on the instrumentation. William Harres Graham was fantastic. The volume was cranked to a near perfect volume and the place was dark and bluesy with the perfect verve. I did get the last Shiner Bock.

There’s live music every night at the Continental and plenty of joy, much of it fueled by local heroes, many of whom have held down weekly residencies for years. On weekends, touring acts come through. #continental #austin

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
