Tale of Two

Cities

Madame Defarge’s absolute hate for the patriarchy in Dickens Tale of Two Cities is a story within itself. It is a woman who’s anger and hate cross the line.

Her ability to be two different people is due to her desire for revenge colliding with opportunity present within the French Revolution, showing that Dickens’ novel is not only a story about two cities, but a tale of two women wrapped in one.

And let’s go back to modern quixotic times where we have a large proportion of the population wanting the rich, privileged, that is the Trump regime to have real consequence for what they have done.

And how far do the actions go toward the other Madame Defarge. That being those who turned the other cheek toward a regime hell bent on obliterating what used to be American democracy.

Let thou knit the names and let due justice do what it will.
