Outside of Two Standard Deviations

What’s the weirdest movie you’ve ever watched?

What The Bleep Do We Know?

Who really wants to watch a blockbuster that caters to the common denominator of the population. Common themes in blockbusters are formulated on themes of.

  • Good vs Evil
  • Triumph over adversity
  • Coming of age
  • Guy gets girl
  • Revenge and Retribution

I am not saying there are not good formulaic movies out there but it is not what I choose to watch in the movie theatre. I enjoy movies that bend reality and are not formula driven. Choosing the strangest movie is difficult. Certainly I can list a few that I enjoy.

I am the same way with television. I am currently watching a series called Strike Out. It is strange yet perfect series about an odd form of ten pin Bowling .It is all in German with subtitles. One of my favorite wastes of time is devouring foreign films on International flights. They are quirky and weird. And garner my attention.

Quirky Weird, and intelligent are the words I use when I am in need of a good book. It usually heads me in the right direction.

I honest admit I never understood 2001 but I was 14 when I saw it

I would love to hear you opinion as well

Hello,

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
