Which relationship has taught you the most about yourself?

Anybody who claims to be an expert in relationship you have to check their credentials. I swear I’ve had counselors who sometimes were looking for my (our) advice. I don’t think I’ve ever had a counselor who hasn’t been divorced. I owe you the reader. This, Please take what I’m saying with a grain of salt or a gin and tonic for breakfast. If your partner doesn’t question, you drinking a gin and tonic for breakfast question your partner.. Hopefully when you get done reading this, you mat say this guy is a quack.

Here we are in the land of WordPress and perfect for the theme of the day. I get the same prompt two days in a row.. this is a perfect metaphor for relationships.

Do we actually do the same thing over and over again?

I had a practice marriage, which was probably what I learned the most about and who knows if it’s for the better. My divorce was one of the toughest things they did in my life. I made a lot of mistakes in my first marriage, and I didn’t realize I was making the mistakes. I was more judgmental than I should’ve been. But then again it could be comparing candy apples to tang. I also allowed my partner to make some monumental mistake without it, providing proper and fair feedback.

Life doesn’t come with instructions, raising kids doesn’t come with instructions, but making mistakes in one relationship is kind of like having the answers to a test. I guess.

Yes, I can still be an idiot because I’m not really a practice marriage. I had two great kids, we had a good thing and there were mistakes made. Certainly I’m glad to have had that experience.

That is if you’re taking the correct test.

I Love You Now Change

It’s not a strong recipe for success. People know who they are getting married to. Or maybe there’s a lesson to be learned there that we should get to know who we’re getting married to. Being on a date is much different than living the day-to-day life.. I have changed tremendously since my first relationship. I did have many relationships before that and I did I screw them up as well?. in theory every intimate relationship we have should be over except for one. If that equation doesn’t come true you probably didn’t learn a whole lot.

In the first paragraph, I alluded to reading this and calling me a quack. That’s OK I have a lot of training.. Our first relationships are with our parents naturally, and what counselor doesn’t ask about our childhoods. These relationships, shape our relationships to come.. putting that aside my first emotional relationships were with pets. And this is where we derive the term quack.. I had a duck named George who followed me around every single day. You learned unconditional love at a very early age without even realizing it. but your side of the relationship was pretty darn easy.

Random And Out of Order

Yes, I can be random and all over the place and usually answer questions with blank spaces that aren’t even part of the question. But my answer to this question is the most glaringly obvious one. It is my current relationship where I’ve learned the most. And of course one must ask. What is your current relationship? As we have relationships with our kids, our person we sleep next to, and our friends we’ve had through our entire lives and new friends that we meet.

My wife and I are complete opposites. I’m a storyteller or I’m never direct to the point.. She is a lot more direct to the point, but she can be all over the place and can be slow to admit that.. but her communication style certainly is cleaner than mine.

I don’t think like her at often, but I used to not at all.

I love you but change Part 2

The paradox known as I love you, but change it’s a misnomer of sorts. It is rather I love you but grow. I’ve learned so much about life and looking at life from knowing my wife. I’ll probably never be a giant Brandi Carlile fan. And sometimes it’s a colossal pain in the ass.

I know that’s true of most other relationships that we have. Our relationship with our kids have changed. I learned a lot from my kids and hopefully they do for me. That sounds like such a simple statement, but that’s part of being humble.

Males Over 50 Don’t Have Male Friends

It’s like big one double elimination tournament. The friends you have at this point in your life, they aren’t acquaintances they are friends.. They are fewer in numbers but they are the ones you can grow from. You’ve learned throughout your life who you want to hang out with and who you don’t.. even those relationships that you abandoned, we were learning something along the way.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
