We moved back to the Seattle area so we can be with the grandkids and family,?

And here we were in Ballard this morning watching our four year old, his (#5) first soccer game.

We got there right at kick off and their team (The Whales) immediately gave up a goal by kicking the ball in the wrong goal.

Number five ran over to us after asking when we got here, and without waiting for an answer,, declared, “Looks like we are losing”

Near the end of the half ‘#3’ on his team sent a shot past the goal and followed his shot for about another quarter of a mile. He dribbled the ball, without anybody marking him, out of eyesight. We have no idea where he was headed, or where he would’ve ended up, if not flagged down by the coach on the other team.
