If your future self could send you one sentence, what do you hope it would say?

Yesterday we attempted to turn on the Mariners baseball game that was already in the 4th inning. But our four year wanted to watch the game from the start. This put us about four innings behind the actual game taking place.

For those enrolled in the grandparent training school, this is simply how it is. The vote of the four year old overrides that of four semi rational adults.

My wife and daughter were out picking up dinner and they had the game on somewhere. I believe it was Red Robin. As an aside Red Robin’s food makes me want to take a shower or go for a run.

I don’t know what happened at Red Robin, but it took a real long time. We were all hungry and they came back with the food.

They arrived from the future and announced the score of the game which we were half way through watching.

If your future self could send you one sentence, what do you hope it would say?

No matter where you go, there you are.

Red Robin

What a delightful and wonderfully humorous reflection! 😊⚾

The story of the four-year-old becoming the ultimate authority in the household made me smile. There really does seem to be an unwritten rule in “grandparent training school”: the youngest member gets the deciding vote! And watching a baseball game four innings behind simply becomes part of the adventure.

I blame Red Robin for everything., I bet the staff at Red Robin Prepared a bombastic version of happy birthday for you.

I don’t know if it was every Red Robin, but the one in Northgate as they seem to have some type of superpower.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
