Admittedly My Imagination is Having Puppies

If you had to be an animal for a week, which one would you be and why?

I’m not the religious type, however, I feel like I have someone looking over me. There is one very smart resident in our neighborhood. who always seems to be lurking in the shadows. Until he isn’t, he sits there proud and bold and looking smarter than those who have come before him. There is a certain regal essence to him and he seems to have some knowledge that I just don’t have.

I need to step back a little because I’m not quite sure he is a man or a boy., I have no way of telling that as he wears the same exact thing every day. He wears the same black coat that glistens in the sun.

Meet Everett Crowley. I did not name him as that was one of my partners in crime. I introduced him to Arthur, our four year old grandson. Fortunately, Arthur has an imagination on the same scale as I do.

Everett is a bit of a troublemaker . Just last week he got in a fight with one of our beach balls. The beach ball did not survive the incident. He is loud and endearing and a rather cool crow. I’d rather enjoy watching his shenanigans.. I was doing a little bit of research and I think he comes from a long line of troublemakers..

Everett the crow” most famously refers to the real-life 2011 incident where aggressive local crows dive-bombed police officers at the Everett Police Department’s north precinct.

The 2011 Everett Police Crow Attacks

The Location: The parking lot of the Everett Police Department north precinct in Everett, Washington.[1]

The Target: Officers and city employees walking to and from their cars, with birds “getting” on top brass and detectives.

The Retaliation: When an officer tried using a car siren to scare the birds away, “They responded by decorating his car with droppings.”, as noted by HeraldNet.

The Cause: State wildlife biologists explained that the adult crows were simply protecting fledglings learning to fly on the ground.

Editors Note – your imagination having puppies as a line from the song ‘Something On’ by the Canadian rock band the Tragically Hip.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
