Well Hung or Hung Well

One of our many projects lately is hanging artwork on the walls. The task is a little more complicated as we have plaster walls which entail some planning and minute calculations. But I ask the question does it really matter where we hang a picture?

Ode to Art

This photo hung on our grandmothers wall

I remember where it hung and the reflection

Or refraction of the bending late afternoon sun.

A bird sat knowingly on some days without detection.

As I know it matters little of where art thou hang

The bird will linger staring back with affection

Of all other art that hang on these plastered walls.

In the end it is art and art is not about perfection.

But perception.

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
