If The Shoe Fits

If The Shoe Fits

What’s the oldest things you’re wearing today?

Today

Right now, I am sitting in the University City parking lot in Seattle as my wife is furniture shopping. There was a storm last night and we had a big change of plans. I have dog duty.

So here I am in a sweatshirt it’s about six years old. Some real cool running pants that are brand new and I noticed I’m wearing a pair of Birkenstocks.

Those Birkenstocks are 20 years old. I got them for free as I was a product Tester. I would wear them and was required to write an essay about the shoes. These shoes were lost for a while, but with the move, I found them tucked in closet.

Not my best effort writing from a cramped car. I did do mushrooms as well. Not what you think. We had some great mushrooms from that vegan restaurant in Everett. That’s what I’m eating for breakfast. And the dog keeps trying to steal them.

Have a great day, if everything went according to plan, but the stories that we have to tell.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
