A Moving Experience

What possibly could go wrong simply did not.

Which is weird enough as it is.

But the obscene out of nowhere happened unexpectedly.

Yes I know that’s a double redundancy

As is that previous sentence.

Sink

We were ready to finish our repairs and

call it a day. I quickly cleaned up under the sink

And there sat a pungent puddle of water

and the worst drain of our bank accounts.

Bedspread

We did survive the crisis of the century. I put the bedspread on crooked and it showed up in our photos.

Cat

We lost Sinclair in the process for a full day. She did return. On a side note she did jump out of the closet when the new owners were taking measurements.

Bugs

We had those natty bug swarms for about a week. Who knows.

Mice

We have never had a mouse in the house and this was not the pleasure of my spouse. I never tell anything and had to capture them and put them outside. Surprisingly they never returned.

Sewer

What do I know about a sewer? Well ours cost us $16,000 because something is wrong with it. Somehow, I blame them mice.

Goodwill

I made about 10 trips to Goodwill with about a 95% acceptance rate. As things got busier I put things out in the curb where I’m batting we are perfect.

Dump

Little know fact the best day to go to the city dump in May 1. This happens to be my birthday. Also, the truckers don’t work that day because it’s international workers day.

Moving is not very much fun.

Until it is.

Complete.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
