Seattle, Northgate -March 1st

We spent a lot of time going up and down the I5 corridor between Portland and Seattle and this weekend we continued the tradition.

A few years back I got promoted to Opa and here is my status report

  1. If you have trouble sleeping at night consider spending time with kids. They are full of energy and will help your thinking and awareness at all times. It’s a well earned sleep at night.
  2. Practice working the stroller and car seat before hand. A busy parking lot at Ballard Locks is not the place to hone your skills.
  3. Thomas, he is a train. Respect the Thomas.
  4. The fine art of belly bonk and nutmeg. It’s a game we play before nap time.
  5. Invading a Barnes and Noble and not buying anything is an okay activity. There are escalators to ride and yellow trucks on the second floor.
  6. Vegan Donuts are usually a hit. Mighty O on Market street is a favorite.

7. Who knows what they are fascinated with this week.

Sweet, and great advice on the car seat and stroller practice!! As for Thomas, big fan! 🙂

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
