Americans will idle for almost anything. We complain about the price of gas and then sit in line at Burger King or Starbucks waiting for our order instead of stopping the car and going in.

But when we get done, idling, and get on our way, if we have to idle on the freeway, we are furious. And we start into the “build more roads” solution.

It would be nice to idle on a train or bus.

But no, people want their hemis.

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
