Reverse Nostalga

When I was a teen I absolutely loved Lynyrd Skynyrd
I blasted Free Bird when I could
There was a gal who sat near
me who liked them as well.
There is always a girl involved at that age.

I am here to confess I was wrong
Lynyrd Skynyrd is simply bad music.
And pretty racist to boot.

Big wheels keep on turnin'
Carry me home to see my kin
Singin' songs about the south-land
I miss Alabamy once again and I think it's a sin, yes
Well I heard Mister Young sing about her
Well I heard ol' Neil put her down
Well I hope Neil Young will remember
A southern man don't need him around anyhow

Get over it you lost the civil war and your music still sucks.

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
