Nobody realizes this. The story of Noah and his Ark and his 12 billion animals living on a boat was pretty much a precursor to Gilligans Island. Well a battered boat is probably the thread that most often comes to mind.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God People in his neighborhood detested he parked the boat blocking their view of Mt. Ararat. How he got into boating and animal rescue is a mystery to me.

So in my interpretation of the bible, based on an earlier edition of the bible that never made the main stream, is simply this. Noah crashed his Ark on Gilligan’s Island while out on a three hour tour.

Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale
a tale of a fateful lark,
that started from this tropic port,
aboard this tiny ark.

The mate was a mighty sailin’ man,
the Skipper brave and sure,
five million passengers set sail that day,
for a three hour tour,
a three hour tour.

The weather started getting rough,
the tiny shit was tossed.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
the Minnow would be lost.
The Minnow would be lost.

This was the verse for two minnows on the ark. The animals sang this in rhymes substituting Minnow for Hippo or whatever animal needed cheering up.

Adam adeptly played the role of the Skipper .

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
