Which household chore do you love and which one do you hate?
Why do you think they call a chore?
A chore is a routine, often boring or unpleasant task—typically household or farm work—that must be done regularly. It commonly refers to small, odd jobs like cleaning or laundry, but can also describe any difficult or tedious task. Common examples include doing laundry, washing dishes, mowing the lawn, and taking.
And The Winner is
In the category of short chores in the main stream, the winner of most desirable chore is, watering the plants. We have a lot of plants so that takes a decent amount of time. Some of the plants I’ve nurtured and rescued. It has a peaceful and meticulous rhythm to it.
The runner-up has to be cutting the grass. When I first moved into our house, my neighbor Peter said you seemed to like gardening. I said no that’s not true. I like vegetables. I like the order of a freshly mowed lawn. It must be a childhood kind of thing. I loved this as a kid because as freshly mowed lawn meant, Let’s play some baseball.
Losers
I’d rather dislike emptying the dishwasher. For boring tasks I generally set a timer. My mind can only take a certain amount of boring and then I need a break.
I am on one of those breaks right now. It has been two weeks straight of one chore chore after another. The house cleaners will be here in a half hour to give the house a complete cleansing. Predictably the house is really clean right now.
But we are at the end. The photographers will be here tomorrow morning and the house will go in the market on Wednesday..
It is bittersweet.

I would love to hear you opinion as well
