Acute Angles and Tangents

Describe one positive change you have made in your life.

For Starters

I talked earlier today about not being the most smart person in the world. It never dawned on me to trim a cat nails. I took the cats in for a trimming earlier this week and the destruction of furniture seems to have slowed down. Or maybe it’s a cease-fire.

Big Things

There are huge things in our life that we change and alters where we’re headed in the future. I believe when I decided 15 years ago to go vegan I made a positive change for the planet, animals as well as my health. I’m not taking them moral high ground here as I’m afraid of heights.

Rather Little Things

Orange Peel

I’m not very handy. Orange peel is an amazing spray on that corrects errors in drywall. I never knew it existed.

Wake Up

I used to be a night owl, I am now a morning person and enjoy it. I do not like you to use terms such as productivity and efficiency. That makes it feel like I’m in the middle of capitalism and I don’t want to be.

Chili Crisp

I am a very good cook, but why reinvent the wheel. This has been a life changer at meal time. Like orange peel it can correct any meal that needs a little pizzazz with style in class.

Thank you for reading todays tangent .. Have a great day.

This is such a refreshing and honest piece—there’s a quiet charm in the way you’ve shared these everyday realizations.

I really enjoyed the balance between the “big things” and the “little things.” It feels real—like life isn’t just shaped by major decisions, but also by those small, almost accidental discoveries… like trimmed cat nails, orange peel spray, or a jar of chili crisp that somehow changes everything.

Chili Crisp for the win! I obviously agree. 🙂

It’s a great thing you’ve done in going and staying vegan. I’m out of line with my own aspirations at the moment and it’s painful.

Will keep Orange Peel in mind.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
