I’ve had a dog or a cat for my entire life. Early on, I had plenty of beagles. I actually had two in a row named Lucy. Beagles have always been my favorite.

All pets are special. There are guides to find what pets are suited to your personalities. In my opinion, the best way to find a pet is go to your animal rescue league and adopt a pet. You’ll fall in love pretty quickly.

My wife bought me a black lab border collie many years ago for Christmas. I’ll stick with this. Cooper was by far the best dog I ever had. He was gentle and a sidekick for life when I least expected it. And he listen to me and was fluent in German.

There is no best pet. There are no bad dogs only bad pet owners.

I’m not even saying dogs are the best pets.For me they are. I had a cockatoo named Boris. He was delightful and probably as smart as a border collie. They are all unique and become part of the household and family.

The Wreckage

The cats have destroyed the chair I’m sitting on. I steam cleaned the carpets in our house yesterday and it is amazing all the dirt we brought up. But in the end, I have a cat sitting on my lap helping me type this. They’re all good but they are a big responsibility..
