The Chasm

How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?

I can’t really say things have changed all that terribly much other than a larger chasm right through the middle of our society

That Larger Chasm

For many of us now we viewed life as before Covid and after Covid. That is a chasm in the middle of our life. I for one have a newfound gratitude for what we have. I have become much less social and I enjoy spending time with myself.

Extra Twenty

In the solitude of Covid I happened to pick up between 15 and 20 pounds. It did allow me to identify unhealthy eating habits, and I’m right back on track right now and pretty close to where I want to be.

Multicolinearity

I worked from home for five straight years. I have never stepped into an office again. I rarely drive anymore. We eat out less and in a way enjoy simple things. I walk around with a deeper appreciation for this thing called life. But then again somewhere along the line I had a heart attack. I can’t even remember if that was pre-Covid or post Covid. That’s a pretty big chasm in one’s life.

These things may have happened anyways. I feel I emerged a more energized, vibrant person with a deeper appreciation for life.

Those Who Don’t

I for one I’m impressed the way the world responded to Covid. There’s a bunch of people who are angry and militant the way things unfolded. I have become less tolerant to those who spread lies and eschew science. For the most part, I’ve eliminated them from my life. There are a few I miss but not many.

I appreciate the relationships that we have now and cherish them. It may sound cheesy, but it’s always been my philosophy. This is no dress rehearsal. This is our life and it’s the only one we have.

I agree, socially, things have changed. I hated the idea of being home so much and not interacting with other people, but now I can enjoy it a little more. Though, I still enjoy entertaining and talk with friends, it brings me to joy to see people laugh. Thanks

I think we found an acceptable balance

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
