Bridge to Morality

If you could have something named after you, what would it be?

I simply do not. My birth certificate was named after me as was my drivers license.

What kind of psychopath would like to have a signature on a dollar bill or on the side of a building?

Wanting something named after you is a complex psychological desire rooted in the pursuit of symbolic immortality, the creation of a legacy, and the need for recognition or control. In psychology, this is sometimes linked to implicit egotism, which suggests people have an unconscious preference for things they associate with themselves.

Put on a more personal level, when the kids were little, I used to quiz them a little about landmarks around town and they became quite self-sufficient in getting themselves around. Portland has many bridges and we all had nicknames for them.

There was the spaghetti, bridge, the Lego bridge and one in the far end of town. The kids referred to as daddy‘s favorite bridge. They still call it that.

Nice way of making your kids aware of their world!

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
