One of the reasons I moved to the Pacific Northwest was my dislike of East Coast Summers. With global warming, the weather in the Pacific Northwest has started to get similar to that on the East Coast;

Minus the lightning bugs and the cool thunder storms.

I do like rain. My love for rain right now is at the lowest point in the year as it has rained for about four months straight.

But in the third week of August, we get a little bit of rain and I’m out of the middle of the street.
