They treat the UPS truck as a threat to the world . Squirrels much the same. I won’t speak of dogs four times her size she fights them anyways. Maybe it’s a vivid imagination

My wife went from an idea, let’s move to Seattle, to planning to execution in bold confident strokes. And we are headed north. A lot of men are intimidated by confidence.. I rather like that attribute. We can still be a mess inside no matter how we appear.

Switching the pendulum 180°, sometimes confidence it’s just narcissistic ego driven greed. If I had the attributes of the tangerine hamburglar in office, I would be lacking confidence every step of the way but not this jackass.

Yesterday I stood at the 11 mile mark of a local half marathon. We stood there with my wife and the two grandkids and my son-in-law.. Our daughter and friend were running the race. People struggled to get up a difficult hill. Almost to the top of the hill, the kids greeted them with high-fives and you can do it and it’s all downhill from here.

I saw a bunch of very confident people buoyed by the confidence by a simple hi-five of a four-year-old.

With confidence comes humility. That’s where it works. That’s where it shines.
