The Good, The Bad and The Really Bad

What is the last thing you learned?

The More I Learn

I learn how much there is to learn, it is a constant and goes on every waking hour of every day.

To Name A Few

Lox

I learned how to make vegan Lox using carrots and various spices. I learned I can and sometimes have to follow a recipe.

Mud

I ran on a series of muddy trails in a place I don’t go often. There were times I was lost but I learned my way around Whipple Creek state park. I may be able to repeat it.

Mir vs Ich

In Germany use mir when something is happening to you, use Ich otherwise.

Cream

I learned I like cream in my coffee. A frother is a simple thing to use. I learned Oat Milk works the best.

Story

If I stick with a story creatively will eventually flow.

March 5

I never place a date to it. March 5th is the day we lost Cooper last year. Unknown it is an artificial demarcation in time. I don’t really need it. He was such a good dog.

Despot

The despot wants to bomb Cuba. he is an evil narcissist son of a bitch. I used to have the mantra, see the inherent self worth in every human being.

I learned I can not.

This is a strikingly honest and reflective piece. I really appreciate how you move through everyday discoveries — from learning to make vegan lox or navigating muddy trails to small language insights and the comfort of cream in coffee — and then gently shift into deeper reflections about memory, loss, and the complexity of human nature.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
