Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?

I certainly hope so. If I am doing the same thing as I did years ago I would be disappointed in myself. Hobbies are good but they stay the same and we grow as people.

Today on Super Bowl Sunday

I can’t see the game today as I am overseas. I do not watch the NFL. We only have so many hours on this planet and watching football takes up too many. Still to those watching, go Seahawks

One Step Farther

I guess for many of the same reasons I don’t watch television all that much. For me, it is a time suck without much needed value.

Let me disembark off that high horse

FOMO as who knows if I am older or smarter but I no longer find the need to socialize as I used to have the fear of missing out. The world continues to spin around without me. Happy hours are trite, and large parties a jumbled mess of inane talking about nothing.

Duolingo is not a great way to learn a language. I don’t use it much anymore.

Soccer who knows if I ever play again. I get hurt too often. Once in awhile I know my limitations.

The Earth Keeps Revolving

In their place are activities such as writing, art, racquetball and music. Who knows and I have no moral high ground. I haven’t played racquetball for twenty five years and now I play again. I keep running and find things that give me comfort and joy.

I went to a punk rock concert today. You just never know and somehow refuse to grow old.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
