Vice Advice

We went to a casino the other night. It was in the middle of nowhere in Western Washington. We are not gamblers and it is not our usual night out

We decided our limits were forty bucks each. Sounds reasonable.

I walked in not knowing what I was doing and we made a trip around all the games. I wanted to play five card or at the very least Black Jack. At least with these games you had some input on the game.

You Do Nothing

There were none. I ordered a drink, my wife a seltzer. I had to ask, but you could only use cash.

Confusing

I couldn’t figure out what was going on and watched my wife play. Once she started winning I asked her to move to another table. She followed this strategy.

I only played for 15 minutes. using no strategy at all walked away with $21.00.

Center of Attention

My wife’s luck started fading and then she won a fairly big jackpot bells rang for 30 seconds or so. Nothing like being the center of attention. I once again encouraged her to walk away. Which she did.

The Smoking Section

There is a section where you can sit smoke and gamble. It is not separated from rest of the casino. I swear I saw visions of Mom and her sister Joan smoking and playing the odds.

The financial statements

Started with $80.00

Two Drinks $14.00

ATM Fee $3.50

Take Home Cash $88.00

Net Take Home $ .50

Everyone I talk to say they win when going to casinos. They are mere fabrications.

It was a unique night out, outside of my comfort zone. I like going there.

He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
