My wife did the cooking tonight. She is a follow the recipe to the core type. She uses different spoons to measure.

Seitan

Tonight she made seitan. Seiten is a popular plant-based meat substitute made from wheat gluten, also called “wheat meat,” known for its chewy texture.

She kept making small talk about how she had made some mistakes. She did add some ginger where it was supposed to be garlic. I contributed here, as I put the garlic lid on the ginger. It takes a village.

They were a bit different however I thought them quite tasty. I thought they had the look and feel of fried oysters.Which I remember liking in cheap sea food joints.

I then mixed up some cocktail sauce. I felt like I was eating the best meal in a mediocre seaside oyster bar.

Maybe we are on to something big.
