What was the last thing you did for play or fun?

When I first started running I read a book on running by Dr. George Sheehan. These where his words on running and play.

Running and Play

For Dr. George Sheehanrunning was a form of “play” that led to self-discovery, personal growth, and a deeper connection with life, not just exercise; he believed approaching running as joyful, personal “play,” rather than a chore or competition, unlocked its transformative power, allowing individuals to find their unique heroic self and achieve a total experience of body, mind, and spirit. He saw daily runs as a way to reclaim time, build character through consistent effort (like defense in basketball), and discover profound truths, making running a lifelong pursuit of freedom and meaning.

I run everyday unlocking synapses that probably would lay dormant. It is play for me.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
