If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Pragmatically
I am a bit fortunate, as I have pretty much done that my entire life. Years ago when I was working for Oracle, they wanted me to take classes every three months.
I got to a point where I said I don’t care what class I take. I just want to take it in Seattle. That is where I ended up. We’re contemplating moving back there again. Portland and Seattle are two different cities with each having its own set of charms.
I know this is a writing exercise, but one must factor in pragmatism and what realistically can be done
Family
As implied, I would like to be close to family, especially the grandkids. That limits the possibility to either Seattle or Germany. Both would be ideal places to live.

I Can Imagine
In the fantasy world, this question implies, it would be ideal to live in a different place every year or two. Some places that I think would be cool to live include
- Central Mexico
- Columbia
- Germany
- Denmark
- England
- Japan
- Norway
- Alaska
- Nicaragua
- Toronto
With global warming, I truly miss winters with lots of snow. I know people get sick of it, but I rather miss it. I didn’t dig deeply into this question as it was a back of the envelope calculation. Some of these places do not have cold weather, but they do have cultures that are that much different, which would make it worth not having real winters.
If you notice a pattern in this list, none of these places has a fascist racist, president, reflecting the ideals of many of the people that live there.
Can anybody recommend a good moving company?

I would love to hear you opinion as well
