Social media is really a strange thing. I’m not begrudging anything but people post about trips, accomplishments, and so on It must be tough for people who are struggling.

It’s difficult for human nature to be happy for the elation of others. I get that.

There are certainly pratfalls

Behind the scenes

Swish

I was getting changed to go for a run and went to take off my sock, flipped it in the air and it landed in the toilet. So I had to run with a wet sock.

Oops

When we got home this weekend, I accidentally left the door open and the cats used this opportunity to explore the world.

Swoosh

When I went out for a run, I walked out to the car to get my jacket and it start pouring on the way out to the car. I was soaked already and just continued running in a T-shirt.

Splat

We do a good job of clean eating, but in a pinch, we get the vegan version of Taco Bell.

Those things drip and a shirt is ruined for the weekend.

Bad Math

I put the wrong Tupperware lid on the lentil soup. It ended up all over-the-counter.

Wrong Pumpkin

I was painting pumpkins with the grandkids and they decided to paint me instead of the pumpkins.

There are little pratfalls along the way that we never see. It’s fun to step back and enjoy them. We’re kind of human.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
