Pride and Lack of Prejudice

What are you MOST proud of in your life?

I have many things to be proud of but the word MOST I’m going to .completely ignore.

I’m extremely proud watching my children and what they have become. I watch the kids at their stages in their lives. I feel they have handled it much better than I have. I’m not going to attribute it to great parenting. We parent the best we can, with love, patience, and gut feel, as kids don’t come with instruction manuals.

Our middle daughter in Seattle, her and her husband are raising two wonderful kids, with better parenting techniques than I could’ve ever. Our daughter In Mainz Germany is also raising a daughter pretty much alone. She holds a prestigious position at the university and is a mother at the same time. Our son in Berlin is enjoying his life on his terms. He is a kind man and a pleasure to be with.

Thanks for the softball question.

What a heartfelt and inspiring reflection! 💛 It’s beautiful to see how deeply you value your children’s journeys and accomplishments, and the pride you feel comes through so genuinely. Your acknowledgment of love, patience, and instinct in parenting is both humble and moving — showing that what really matters is guiding with care and trust.

Lovely. I skipped this one because of the ‘most’, but love your answer and the photos.

Thank you my friend. That may have been the my most basic and bare bones writing I have done recently. There is little room for nuance

    You’re very welcome.❤️
Even in its most “bare bones” form, your writing carries clarity and honesty, which is a strength in itself. Sometimes simplicity opens space for readers to connect directly with your thoughts, without distractions. Nuance can always be layered in later, but there’s beauty in letting your words stand on their own like this.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
