What could you try for the first time?

There isn’t much I wouldn’t try. I won’t do anything that goes against my philosophies. Everything we do in life there was always the first time. So everything we do, forward that is new will be the first time. So forward with gusto.

Cooking

Almost every dish we make is completely new if we don’t follow a recipe. I made a spaghetti squash dish last night and my wife said we’ve never had this before.

Ok I’ll Admit This

My wife was watching the ducks football game on the computer the other day, and I said, why don’t you cast it to the television.

I’ve always said, I will never have a TV in my bedroom. We don’t watch it all that much, but we now have a TV in our bedroom.

International Travel

I hope we all want to go to places we’ve never been before. There’s so many places I haven’t been. If I haven’t been there, I wanna go there.

I tried a new airline last month. I usually take Lufthansa but switched to Icelandair. That wasn’t a great experience, but my luggage had the adventure of a lifetime.

It was a privilege to be able to try that.

Louis L’Amour

His writing style It’s definitely not my favorite. It isn’t something I would normally read. My stepfather explained to me how he liked it, so I’m reading a boo by this author. I can’t say I’m overly enjoying it. But still, I’m enjoying the experience seeing how he could like these books.

I could write forever here, as life is about trying new things. At least mine is. That’s the title hints, my role of thumb is try anything twice. The first time doesn’t always go so smoothly..

Have a great day.

What a wonderfully engaging and inspiring reflection! 🌟 I love how your post celebrates curiosity, openness, and the spirit of adventure in everyday life. From experimenting in the kitchen to exploring new travel experiences, and even venturing into unfamiliar books, you highlight the joy of stepping outside comfort zones.

Your honesty and humor — like the luggage “having the adventure of a lifetime” or admitting to adding a TV in the bedroom — make your experiences relatable and entertaining. I also appreciate the underlying message: life is about embracing new experiences, learning, and growing, even if the first attempt isn’t perfect

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
