What principles define how you live?

I’m not a religious person and probably never will be, however, the golden rule is not a bad principal. I attempt to treat people as I expect to be treated.

Unitarian

Even though not religious I’ve spent a lot of time in church. One axiom I gleaned from the Unitarian Church is, see the inherit self-worth, in every single human being.

I love that principle, but right now, even within the Unitarian Church, it’s a difficult thing to do.

It Extends to Animals

I can and will not harm another living being. Animals have the same right to life as we as humans. My vegan lifestyle is one I follow consistently and without excuse or variation, and I’m quite proud of it.

I am married to a principal. Which affects my principles.

What a thoughtful and inspiring reflection! 🌿 Your clarity about your principles — from the golden rule to the respect for all living beings — speaks volumes about your integrity and compassion. I particularly admire how you’ve extended these values beyond humans to include animals, embodying a lifestyle of conscious care and ethical consistency.

Your honesty about the challenges, even within a community like the Unitarian Church, makes your commitment feel genuine and grounded.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
