What is your favorite hobby or pastime?

Pastime

I would prefer to call it savor time. It is what we prefer to do when we have the time

A pastime is a recreational activity that someone does regularly in their free time for enjoyment. It is something that helps to make time pass agreeably.

I am off topic

Which is what are hobbies are all about. I have so many almost to a fault.

Running or any form of exercise– it gives meaning to the day and I am a big proponent of endorphins

Art-to me is pure joy and freedom of expression.

Family

I could list others, but one thing always rings true is family. I have family in Europe and all over the States. my entire last month has all about family. It will be nice to get back into a routine.

My past times are not for passing time. They are life.

What a beautifully heartfelt reflection on hobbies and pastimes! 🌿💖

I love how you redefine a pastime as “savor time” — it’s a lovely reminder that the activities we choose are not just ways to fill our hours, but ways to enrich and give meaning to our lives. Your passion for exercise, art, and family shines through, showing how each brings joy, vitality, and connection.

I especially appreciate your insight that pastimes aren’t merely for passing time, but are truly life itself. It’s a thoughtful and inspiring perspective that encourages us to embrace what we love fully, rather than seeing leisure as separate from living. 🌸✨

Thanks for your beautiful response. We are lucky (fortunate)to be where we are. I am in awe watching parents and those living more hectic day to lives. We all need our little oasis’s in our lives.

    Absolutely! 🌿✨
It’s so true — having a little oasis, a space to breathe and connect with nature or loved ones, is a true blessing in our often hectic lives. Your appreciation for these simple, grounding moments is inspiring, and it reminds us all to cherish and protect the calm corners of our days. 💛🌸

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
