Your life without a computer: what does it look like?
My first job out of college was managing a retail store for Black & Decker. I programmed a TRS 80 to record sales and transmit to the home office
And Never looked Back
I worked in finance accounting and had a boss who told me I could never program, because financial people don’t do that. Programming was my career for the last 25 years.
What Life Would be Without Them
There is a wild assumption in this question that all computers would be taken away that would include transit schedules, the Dow Jones index, and this telephone, which I type amongst 1,000,000,000 other things
I would need a computer to list them.
Life Would be Great
Could you imagine the world without cars and the consumption of oil? I almost get Getty (sic) in anticipation of the world such as this in a world without computers, although unrealistic would be pretty darn cool. Let me grab a pencil and a notebook and I’ll write on the first page.
Let life Begin

I don’t know why I titled this Philadelphia, but I’ll get back on theme and post fitting lyrics from the song Sailing back to Philadelphia by Mark Knopfler.
All Durham and Northumberland
Is measured up by my own hand
It was my fate from birth
To make my mark upon the earth…
He calls me Charlie Mason
A stargazer am I
It seems that I was born
To chart the evening sky

I would love to hear you opinion as well
