Are you holding a grudge? About?

Observed

Observing my family, they were professional at holding a grudge. My mom did not talk to certain sisters for years on end, the same with my grandmother. I could never understand it. All I could do was learn from it.

Resentment vs Grudge

As an adult and weaving myself through relationships, there is a fine line between holding a grudge and resentments. I am not sure the difference really matters.

I try my best, not to hold grudges, but there are grudges and I need to explain.

OK Grudges

I have not been able to come to terms with people who support racist, or homophobic views. These views become quite apparent when they support the convicted felon in charge of our country.

So let’s call it a grudge. People who support these points of view I no longer associate with. There is no room for discussion at this time and I’m OK with that.

In the end, that’s the person that they have always been and this is the person I have always been. The world is an unfair place and my goal is to make it that much more equitable.

I get what you mean. Sometimes it’s not about holding a grudge but about choosing who and what deserves your energy. Protecting your peace doesn’t make you bitter—it makes you wise.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
