Share a story about the furthest you’ve ever traveled from home.

A few years back, I left home during a raging snowstorm. I went to visit my daughter who lived in the Maldives.

I left home

It was exciting to be in countries I’ve never been in before, then again the language was always English, which made it feel like it wasn’t that much of an adventure.

For me, the adventure starts when you start speaking another language.

Dubai was rather interesting, but it was the middle of the night so it was like walking around in another planet. Sri Lanka was a Quick stop, but the city of Male, in the Maldives was fascinating.

It was busy, the streets were narrow and was the only time I’ve ever been on a motorcycle. I did not drive.

Ironically, one of the more memorable things was seeing the aurora borealis on the way home. Everything is an adventure if you want it to be.

This was a rather memorable moment as I got into a quick football match with the locals. They were good. I was not still it was fun.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
