A Little Context

Where did your name come from?

When I was very young, we had a dog, the dog‘s name was Freddy. Fred was a girl. So I’m not sure I wanna know where my name came from.

My First Name

My first name is actually Kenneth. That was my dad‘s name, but nobody ever called me it.

I believe that name came from an REM song that was yet to be written. So that is the frequency, Kenneth. By the way, the story behind that song is quite interesting. Somebody held up Dan rather in Manhattan and the assailant said to Dan “what’s the frequency Kenneth?”

My Middle Name

Naturally, everybody calls me, Mark. I imagine in the hospital, the doctor asked my parents to sign by that Mark and they assumed that was my name.

I really don’t know. I rather doubt it was a book in the Bible. I remember one time I was asked to memorize all the books in the Bible.

I got through five. I think Mark is in there somewhere.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
