How do you plan your goals?

I try to move off the ball and have a high work rate.
Goal Setting
Experts in this field, say goals must be moderately difficult yet achievable with concrete methods of measuring.
I Don’t Do That
I know the direction I wanna go, and I point that way, and head in that direction. Right now I’m in the middle of getting down to my somewhat ideal workout weight. I’m not sure what that is, but I’ll know when I get there. So far I’ve been successful beyond my expectations setting little benchmarks along the way. I’m almost there.
New Years Resolutions
I think they’re basically silly so I double down silly. In many years, I set a goal of eating 400 spring onions in a year. I love spring onions and nobody ever challenges me on that.
On Running
I used to be a pseudo elite runner I no longer am. I have been trying to whittle down my times. For most part I try to enjoy the runs for what they are and never take them for granted. But occasionally, I will concentrate on my form and my breathing and set that benchmark every half mile.
Setting Intentions
Yoga instructors usually ask you to set an intention for the following hour. My intention usually is to not look at the clock… Still not accomplished it.
