Emergencies Happen
There is nobody here
Clouds from the north
hint at rain
we were relaxing at the day spa
my wife fell
a cold plunge
In to a porcelain mix
hurting her wrist
bad enough headed to
the Kranken Haus

Here I sit in Urgent Care
not so urgently waiting
for an xray
or something
I don’t know as I
am in the waiting room
under air conditioned
blasts
waiting
patiently waiting for
the patient for a clean
break that shall heal
in time so we can
move on like normal
in a broken health care system
where we are good at fixing what is broken.

Yikes! I hope she will recover quickly and well.

You know truth is that we verbally cover all that for years, but, during the actual chaos, blood and gore I doubt anyone can follow the plan.

Agreed, sometimes it is pure adrenaline

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
