What brings you peace?

When we find inner peace we don’t always know how we got there. Sometimes peace finds us.

I usually find absolute inner peace after a work out usually a run. I have done my one good thing for the day.

Micheal Stipe -“REM you are everything “

And feel such peace and absolute
The stillness still that doesn’t end
But slowly drifts into sleep
The greatest thing you’ve ever seen
And they’re there for you
For you alone, you are the everything
For you alone you are the everything

Making your bed

This isn’t true for everybody, however, I find peace, in the simple act of making your bed going back to the above, Now you have done one good thing for the day. You are peaceful and ready to go.

That sounds so simple, and maybe it could be. I want my kids to be happy and safe. I want my wife to be happy and safe.

Rain

I find absolute Peace, In the rhythm of the falling Rain. I hope you may find that as well.

As I write this, I ponder the subtle difference between Peace and joy. I don’t think it matters. All that much.

Have a great day

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
