Petrichor

It rained this morning, despite the reputation of the Pacific Northwest, summers are dry to the point of bothersome. We welcome the rain today.

Petrichor

a distinctive, earthy, usually pleasant odor that is associated with rainfall especially when following a warm, dry period and that arises from a combination of volatile plant oils and goes unreleased from the soil into the air and by ozone carried by downdrafts

We went on a little hike yesterday and were struck by how dusty it was. Happy to wake to a damp morning.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
