Our cupboard is lined with this magical bean. I love to eat them plain or mixed with other vegetables. They are great in salads.
Chick Pea Salad
Smash some chic peas with a fork or potato masher. Add onions, celery, salt pepper paprika, small amount of mustard and Veganaise. (Vegan mayo)
Eat like you would egg or tuna salad.
I like them for the taste, I like them for the planet, and would recommend it as a protein source. We don’t need to be killing that many animals.
